What is a saber configuration?
The saber configuration determines the electronic setup within the custom saber itself. We are currently offering three saber configurations which are Neo CFX, Neo Proffie, and FX.
Neo CFX Saber - Powered by the Plecter Labs Crystal Focus X soundboard. It is the most user-friendly and feature-rich configuration with a wide array of customization options.
Neo Proffie Saber - Powered by the latest ProffieBoard v3.9 soundboard. It is an incredibly powerful open-sourced configuration with unrivaled customization through programming.
FX Saber - Powered by the ProffieBoard v2.2 soundboard. The saber is base lit illuminated via Tri-CREE LEDs with all the open-sourced custom saber essentials and customization, at an attractive price point. It replaces the Stunt saber configuration.
What does ‘Neo’ mean in a saber configuration?
Any saber configuration that has the name ‘Neo’ at the start of it (eg. Neo CFX Saber) means that the saber is illuminated by a Neo Blade instead of regular in-hilt CREE LEDs.
A Neo Blade is a custom saber blade type that features hundreds of individually addressable LEDs that allows for complex and realistic blade effects, such as; scrolling ignition & retraction, locational blaster block and blade tip drag. These effects are only possible with this blade type.

CFX or Proffie; which is better?
Neither of these saber configurations/soundboards are superior; both have been preconfigured and optimized to work straight out of the box. The main difference is how you tweak/customize the saber’s settings.
The CFX soundboard is known for being user-friendly and easy to customize. It allows for personalization through editing files on the SD card, and with many pre-made sound fonts and blade effects available for download, it is ideal for users who prefer simplicity without the need for programming.
As for the Proffie soundboard, it offers unparalleled customization through coding and is most suited for users who want to deeply personalize their custom saber's features and effects. It also provides advanced customization possibilities, including complex blade effects and animations.
What is a Power Core?
The Power Core is an advanced, fully detachable modular chassis that houses most of a custom saber's electronics. It features a hot-swappable 28mm 3W 4ohm bass speaker, USB-C charging + data transfer capabilities, and it is completely CNC machined in Delrin, for a well-finished look with added durability.
The standout feature of the Power Core is its modularity with all Sabertrio hilts, provided they are equipped with the Central Control Module (CCM). This lets users seamlessly switch a single Power Core between multiple compatible saber hilts.
The Power Core also features an Audio Chip that houses the speaker. It is designed for easy replacement, allowing users to swap it out without the need for soldering if the speaker needs an upgrade or ever becomes faulty. Thanks to its modularity, the Audio Chip can also be swap with an Aux Chip which houses a 3.5mm auxiliary port, enabling a direct connection to an external speaker for enhanced sound output.
Do I need to reflash or perform any additional setup before swapping the Power Core to a different hilt?
CFX Power Core - This configuration allows you to seamlessly swap the Power Core between all Sabertrio saber hilts equipped with a Central Control Module (CCM). Enabling the pulse effect of an exposed crystal chamber will require manual editing of config files on the microSD card.
Proffie Power Core - This configuration requires reflashing if you swap between saber hilts that have distinctively different electronic features. For example, you can seamlessly swap a Proffie Power Core between saber hilts that use only a single Neo Blade, but you will need to reflash it if you want to use it in a Korvus, Krosgaard, or any saber hilt with an OLED screen.

Can I upgrade my Legacy Chassis System saber to the Power Core Chassis System?
Absolutely! You can do that through our Power Core Upgrade Initiative which is offered periodically. To learn more and check its current availability, visit the Power Core Upgrade Initiative page linked here.
Can I order an empty custom saber hilt?
We offer the option to purchase our custom saber hilts with only the Central Control Module (CCM) installed. Through this, as long as you already own a Power Core, you can enjoy multiple Sabertrio saber hilts at a much lower cost.
Can I request for the saber hilt to be finished in a unique way?
At Sabertrio, we pride ourselves on offering a wide array of customization options for our custom sabers. Do reach out to us to discuss what is possible. What materials are used for the saber?
The hilt is made from T6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, while the blade is made from polycarbonate, which is highly impact resistant. Additionally, the chassis is made from an extremely durable thermoplastic called Delrin, to protect the internal electronics.
Do you offer replica hilts specifically from the movies?
At Sabertrio, we're dedicated to crafting custom sabers that take inspiration from the iconic designs seen in the movies, while ensuring each hilt is uniquely yours. While we do not offer replicas, our designs give a nod to the legendary sabers from the galaxy far far away, with our own creative twist.

Does Sabertrio offer a warranty on their sabers?
Yes, every Sabertrio saber is covered by a one-year limited warranty against any manufacturing defects. In the unlikely event that you encounter any issues with your saber, simply reach out to our customer service team, and we'll assist you promptly. ORDERING
How are payments handled?
At Sabertrio, all transactions are handled in US Dollars through two available payment methods which are:
- PayPal (includes PayPal’s Buyers Protection).
- Credit / Debit card via Stripe.
How are shipping fees calculated?
Our website automatically calculates shipping fees based on the volumetric weight of the items in your shopping cart and the delivery address you provided. These fees are then included in the final billing amount of your order.
Typically, ordering multiple items in a single order results in lower shipping fees compared to placing several separate orders for single items.
How soon will my order be ready?
The lead time for your order depends on the items purchased. For custom sabers, the lead time varies depending on the selected hilt finish, and this is stated in the custom saber configurator. Ready to Ship (RTS) sabers will be ready within 10 working days. Accessories ordered individually have a shorter lead time, as stated on their product pages.
If multiple items are ordered, they will be consolidated into a single shipment, and the lead time will be based on the item with the longest lead time. A tracking number will be provided once the order is shipped.
Can I make changes to my order?
Yes, you can, and you won’t be charged for this. As long as your order has not been marked as “Fulfilled”, changes are still possible. However, please note that our manufacturing system requires new work orders to be generated even for the simplest modification, which will reset your order’s position in the build queue. This may potentially extend your order's lead time.
Therefore, we kindly ask that you carefully review your selected options before placing your order.
How can I check the current status update for my order?
Our system does not provide real-time tracking or updates while your order is in production. However, once your order is ready for shipment, it will be marked as "Fulfilled". If you need to check the current status of your order at any time, please feel free to reach out to our customer service team.
Do you accept order cancellations?
Saber orders marked as "Unfulfilled" can be canceled, but there will be a USD 25 administrative charge, and the PayPal/Stripe transaction fee is non-refundable. For accessories-only orders, there is no administrative charge, however deduction of PayPal/Stripe transaction fees will still apply.
SHIPPING
Who are your delivery partners and how long is shipping?
Sabertrio currently offers only Express Shipping. Our delivery partners, DHL Express and FedEx, are automatically selected based on your delivery location. Shipping typically takes 5–7 working days, not including any delays caused by local customs clearance.
Can you deliver to a post office box?
Our shipping partners unfortunately are NOT able to deliver shipments to a post office box. This includes APO, FPO, and DPO. Shipments can only be delivered directly to the receiver's shipping address and a signature of receipt is required.
How do I track the shipment of my order?
As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification along with a tracking number. You can then track the shipment end-to-end via the DHL Express or FedEx tracking website.
How are local import duties & taxes handled?
All import duties and taxes (if applicable) are the responsibility of the recipient. If the shipment is held by customs, DHL Express or FedEx will notify the recipient. Full payment of any duties or taxes imposed will be required before the shipment can be released.
Does my shipment have insurance?
All shipments are fully insured with the same value as shown in the order’s invoice.
