Replacing the Battery - Power/Shorto Core

Notice
The Power Core Chassis System uses a single protected 18650 lithium-ion battery with a button top, whereas the Shorto Core Chassis System uses a single protected 18500 lithium-ion battery with a button top.

Both require a battery with a max continuous discharge of 15A.
Step 1

Unscrew the pommel and slide out the Power/Shorto Core.

Toggle the killswitch to OFF.

Step 2

Partially loosen the Audio Chip by unscrewing it slightly (about two turns) to release the battery.

Remove the old battery from the positive side, then insert the new battery.

Warning
Triple-check the battery alignment. Damage caused by reversed polarity is not covered by Sabertrio's warranty.
Step 3

Screw the Audio Chip fully to secure the battery.

Toggle the killswitch to ON.

Slide the Power/Shorto Core back in, ensuring that you do not press the speaker.

Reattach the pommel to secure the chassis inside the hilt.
